Dates in this directory are not presented as independently verified exact civil dates. Open a profile to see each endpoint’s certainty, note, source, and Scripture references. Nation lists only Judah and the northern kingdom, which are the people-group categories stored on these records.
More Biblical lives and connected traditions
Eleven additional portraits explore archangels, giants, wisdom stories and source-specific titles. Each card distinguishes its textual witnesses, later interpretations and artistic choices. Exact dates and physical likenesses remain unknown.
Also explore 11 source figures
No source figures match this name search. Try Goliath, Og, Mahaway, Ahikar, Susanna, an archangel, Lucifer or Queen of Heaven, or clear the search.

Michael (archangel)
Michael is presented here as an archangel. Symbolic human-form visualization of Michael in Daniel, Jude and Revelation. This is not a historical human portrait. Apparent age 42 is an artistic visual choice, not a lifespan claim. Daniel 10's unnamed messenger's body description is not assigned to Michael.

Gabriel (archangel)
Gabriel is presented here as an archangel. Symbolic human-form visualization of Gabriel in Daniel and Luke. Daniel uses human-form language; no empirical face, biological age or ethnicity is established. Apparent age 27 is artistic. The portrait does not combine separate vision descriptions into an exact anatomy.

Uriel (archangel)
Uriel is presented here as an archangel. Symbolic human-form visualization of Uriel, the answering angel in 2 Esdras 4 and a named angel in 1 Enoch 20. Their offices and cosmologies remain separate witnesses. This is distinct from human Biblical namesakes. Apparent age 55 is artistic, not an angelic age claim.

Raphael (archangel)
Raphael guides Tobiah and is sent to heal Tobit and Sarah in the Book of Tobit. He identifies himself among seven angels in Tobit 12. Christian tradition calls him an archangel; 1 Enoch gives a separate account of his role.

Lucifer (later Christian interpretation)
Symbolic human-form visualization of the pre-fall figure in a later Christian interpretation represented by Origen. Isaiah 14 itself frames a taunt against Babylon's king. This card does not merge those source identities into a verified biography. Apparent age 30 is artistic; no physical appearance or exact fall-date is claimed.

Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah's cult title)
Speculative human-form personification of the unnamed cult title in Jeremiah 7 and 44. It is not a verified goddess likeness, historical woman, archaeological cult-image reconstruction or a depiction of Mary. No exact equation with Ishtar, Astarte or Asherah is asserted. Apparent age 40 is artistic.

Og, king of Bashan
King of Bashan in the Biblical conquest narratives, associated with the Rephaim. Later rabbinic giant stories remain distinct from the Biblical account.

Goliath of Gath
The Philistine champion who faces David in 1 Samuel 17. His card compares the Biblical narrative with Josephus’s different height reading.

Mahaway (Mahway)
The giant envoy who seeks Enoch in the fragmentary Book of Giants. Name forms and surviving episodes differ across the Aramaic and Manichaean witnesses.

Ahikar (Ahiqar)
A wisdom sage linked with Tobit and with the separate Story of Ahikar. The card keeps the literary witnesses and their variant names distinct.

Susanna (Daniel narrative)
Susanna from the Greek Daniel narrative, known for the exposure of false witnesses. Distinct from the Susanna named among Jesus’s supporters in Luke 8.
The distinct Marian devotional title
In Catholic devotion, Queen of Heaven refers to Mary. This is a separate use from Jeremiah's cult title. Mary retains her existing portrait and person profile.
